The West coast of the U.S. is similar to the East coast and has some excellent exhibition venues and centres. Shows on the West Coast are useful for targeting companies and customers from the Pacific area. Venues such as the San Francisco Concourse Exhibition Center, Las Vegas Convention Center and Los Angeles Convention Center, are all excellent and well organised. Below we look in detail at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC).
Los Angeles Convention Center, which is located at 1201 S Figueroa St in L.A., holds a number of exhibitions including Book Expo America, California Gift Show, Entertainment for all Expo and the Spa & Resort Expo & Conference Los Angeles. The LACC is a world class venue which is a very modern and well accessible venue for exhibition visitors and exhibitors alike.
Getting to the LACC - In terms of location, the LACC is close enough to many good downtown hotels and is accessible via the Metro and bus service. If you are driving to the venue, you can see the exhibition centre from Santa Monica Freeway 10 and you will see the centre sign posted on the freeway.
The LACC itself has been a popular exhibition centre since its 1971 opening. The centre is splendid in terms of facilities with more than two hundred feet in exhibition space, in addition to a number of meeting and rooms and halls. The size and magnitude of this venue becomes clear when you know that the venue has its own 3 food areas, in addition to the latest facilities you will need as an exhibitors - with high speed Internet connections, exhibition centre parking for more than five thousand cars and much more.
For exhibition organisers, the venue is made up of 5 main halls, South, West, Kentia, Petree and the Concourse which is slightly different in design and size. In addition to a choice of halls, the centre have an organised team who offer business services and various support and maintenance services such as plumbing and I.T. help for organisers. The centre also gives advice on local accommodation and dining and are able to provide food services for certain exhibitions.
The LACC is good in terms of being within reasonable distance of LA International airport and close enough to hotels and offering some great facilities. Everything literally is under one roof and for International exhibitions this venue can be a good location, if you need to hold the exhibition on the West Coast of the United States.
